Is this the perfect Valentine's Day gift or what? I stopped by a Sharper Image store yesterday, and the first thing I noticed were adorable iPulse Bears in red, white and brown. The sales guys told me these little bears are among their top recommendations for Valentine's Day, followed by the other lightshow fiend, the iDog. It appears animal-shaped iPod accessories are relatively inexpensive Valentine's Day gifts that are both useful and appropriate for the love-filled holiday. Instead of giving her just any teddy bear, you can give her one with pulsating lights and a built-in speaker system that hooks up to her favorite player.
The concept actually got me thinking about filling up my own iPod player with some romantic songs, then letting Teddy iPulse take care of the entertainment for the night with a synchronized music light show. All bears have LED lights across their paws and eyes that sync lights with your favorite music, which you can hear thanks to a pair of built-in speakers. A small kangaroo pouch on his belly holds the MP3 player, along with a cable that connects to the headphone jack. It runs on four "C" batteries or an optional AC adapter and costs $39.95.
These iPulse Bears are cute and cuddly, so I'll add them to my list of techie gift ideas for Valentine's Day.
