I can be pretty creative, so I decided to share some ideas on how to spice things up this Valentine's Day with a little help from some of those gadgets you have lying around. But before we get started, put on your crafty gloves, take a deep breath, and exercise your imagination. Then answer this question: Are you willing to put some heart and soul into your Valentine's Day gift to your love?
Take some time out of your busy schedule—playing video games or surfing the Internet—to work on a little project that will bring a huge smile to their faces. Instead of buying them more gadgets, why not use the ones you already have? Who said you can't be geeky together on Valentine's Day? Just ask this guy who proposed to his girlfriend using a Dashboard Widget.
So put a techno-spin to your gift, and let's get started:
Do you have any other DIY ideas? Share them with me. I want to hear all about your plans this Valentine's Day.

another...What i am doing for my the speacial someone in my life, i am ordering out (Red Lobster) becuase he loves their food and we have not had it in a while. I am going to pick it up when he is not home and set it up nicely on a plate, and then set it out on 2 TV trays infront of the TV, and light a TONE of candles. Of course also have some Wine ready, and some strawberries dipped in chocolate for desert. So when he gets home we can have a nice relaxing, good dinner with a great romantic movie. I also made him a little box of about 100 reasons why i love him inside. The box is a photo frame from Hobby lobby with pictures of us all around the outside.
GAG ME! Puh-leeze. I'm girly enough to like the pretty things and lace and candlelight but come on. If I'm gagging on this stuff, what do you think your guy is going to do???
Either you're still dating or you've been married less than a year. Between my five year old daughter, 3 year old son, laundry, house keeping, cooking, groceries, graduate school, his ever changing work schedule and my part-time job. Get real. My husband helps and it's practically impossible to have a private conversation. He'll probably stop at the grocery store on his way home and bring me some flowers. We'll both have cards for each other and we agreed to get a new DVD player. We still appreciate and are grateful for what we have but a traditional Valentine's Day probably won't happen until our children get to high school. A chance to get more than five hours of sleep would be a wonderful gift.
