I recently wrote a post covering four places you can turn to when you miss a TV show. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I have three or four shows I never miss. I have TiVo, so that's not a problem for me, except when a show conflicts with each other. Case in point, Ugly Betty and American Idol both aired last night at the same time. So guess what, one show didn't record. I have the old TiVo, and next time I buy a new one, it will be the dual-tuner high definition one. But I'm not doing that until the price agrees with my checkbook. I just can't justify paying the $800 pricetag at all.

So where else can you find TV shows online? Cucirca.com put together a long list of 13 places that offer television shows online. They mention some great alternatives like TV-Video.net who is already airing the final O.C. episode, Choose and Watch, and Tape it Off the Internet, which requires an account. Programming varies on each channel, but some offer anything from sports to anime to international channels you don't get on cable TV. Definitely worth a look.

In the meantime, you can catch missed shows and recaps here:

There is one important network missing from the list: CW. The shows can be watched at http://video.cwtv.com/. If you don't know, this network used to be called The WB. They have Veronica Mars, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Beauty and the Geek, and Everbody Hates Chris.
