I'd say Sony is a little behind on the video music player front these days, but still glad it's arrived. Sony's first digital video Walkman, the NW-A800, will soon be released in Europe in four colors: white, black, blue and pink. These players vary in capacity starting with an 8GB (NW-A808), 4GB (NW-A806) and 2GB (NW-A805) model, which appears to be the major difference between the players. They all have a 2-inch LCD screen that plays MPEG4 videos in landscape mode.
Sony also supplies users with software to compress MP3, WAV, and WMA audio files into ATRAC forms the device can actually playback. The battery life sounds impressive at 30 hours when playing ATRAC encoded files, and seven hours when it plays MPEG4 video files. While Europeans can pre-order the players from the Sony Style website, the rest of the world will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on one of these video players. Pricing also varies, with the the 2GB version selling for €180 ($237), the 4GB for €230 and the 8GB for €300, according to Infoworld.

It looks nice, but too expensive, I hav a 1 GB sony which I luv but I upgraded to a 4 GB sansa which I really love. It was only $140. But I dont really care for the video an photo capabilities, on a 1.8 or 2 inch screen? I want an 8 GB flash no frills player and small, with a strong clip and quality software, Where can I get one?

that looks really cool, especially since you only get like 3 1/2 hours of playback on the ipod video
