iGo to Mac: You Complete Me

My current L-shaped glass desk may look wonderful in my office, but it defies the rules of ergonomics. In my search for a new desk, I came across the futuristic iGo workstation. Again, this desk looks beautiful, but I'm not exactly what you would call a minimalist either. iGo definitely complements the simplistic, clean design of the Mac like no other desk I've seen. This is one of those pieces that would set the theme for any room, because you just want to decorate around it.

As far as the ergonomics go, it seems to be pretty adjustable. The monitor sits on a turntable that allows you to swivel your screen in any direction you want, while the keyboard panel adjusts height and depth to suit your typing position. The gel-filled wrist rest and mouse pad are interchangeable for both left or right hand users. What's strange is that two models are available: a standing and sitting station. I suppose the mobile sitting station is the more popular choice since it seems more suitable for the average worker. The standing version is more stationary with solidl steel bases, while the sitting model can roll around thanks to the four castor wheels on the bottom. The rounded G4 iMac looks perfect sitting inside one of these, but the desk also holds the newer iMacs, Cinema displays (20-inch and 23-inch), as well as the Mac-Mini. Other features of interest are the halo lamp positioned underneath the turntable, as well as the cable compartment that hides away all those messy cables. Mac lovers can expect to pay between $300-$500 for the iGo.
