Jessica Alba won one at the ALMA Awards, and plans to use it for training before and after her stunt work, and another celebrity will walk away with one of these $12,000 machines from the BET Awards Backstage Creations Celebrity Retreat today.

So what's so great about this machine? Well, there are many benefits to the TurboSonic, but one of them is burning calories in just minutes through whole body sonic vibration. Ten minutes on the TurboSonic equals 20-90 minutes at the gym, depending on intensity.

Another benefit the ladies will love is it dissolves cellulite, reduces body fat, tightens facial muscles and accelerates weight loss.

I stood on it for about ten minutes while Dirk explained to me how it worked, and those were the best ten minutes spent at the retreat. I felt so invigorated, alert and relaxed all at the same time. And knowing that I probably burned a few calories while talking to another person, also made me feel better throughout the day. I can definitely see myself using one of these machines on a daily basis.

The Turbosonic looks like a large weight scale, and produces sonic (sound) vibrations through the platform. The vertical movement of the plate stimulates your whole body inside and out. It comes with seven preset programs, but also has manual controls so users can customize sessions. Frequency levels of vibration range from 6Hz to 45Hz that can also be adjusted to suit users.

It's a great machine, so I wonder who will be the lucky BET guest who gets to walk away with it.

I tried out the Turbo Sonic machine at a atheltic trainers convention in Atlanta a few weeks ago. It certainly is everything you said it is in the article and MORE. In just 10 minutes a day you get the benefits of a complete workout in the gym. I hope the machines become available in the workplace as it is ideal for a quick workout without the hassles.

We did a lot of research on vibration machines. All of them. Price was a factor, but when we consulted with numerous Doctors and Chiropractors, we were sold, regardless of the price. Other machines vibrate side to side and vertically at the same tim...causing the body to produce a stress response (which I am told produces cortisol; causing one to gain weight!) The Turbo vibrates with a pure up and down vibration and does not move side to side. No stress response! was also told Human Growth Hormone is increased by over 450% which EATS cortisol! So, it's a stress buster and fat burner. Not to mention muscle toner and a host of other amazing benefits.
