CES 2007 Sneak Preview: Photos From Inside!

We're on the ground, and thanks to exhibitor badges, several of the bloggers snuck onto the show floor a day early to see if we could suss out any hot products or trends. Unfortunately, most of CES is still under construction (and in some cases, construction has barely even started...some teamsters are going to be making a lot of overtime money tonight), so it's hard to tell much from these sneak preview photographs (which are completely unauthorized, by the way). Shots in this Flickr stream are from myself, Dory, and Gina.

Of special note: Big TVs are in full effect. Panasonic's 103-inch plasma looks almost commonplace when eight of them are lined in a row (not pictured; the lights were out in that part of the booth). Will Panasonic have a bigger plasma to roll out this year? I'm not sure, but if it does, I don't see where the company would even put it.

More interesting is that CES 2007 marks the first time I've seen LG's 100-inch LCD in the flesh. It's not quite as big as the monster plasma, but it looks awfully good. LCD makes it superthin, too. It's not much thicker than my 37-inch LCD at home. (Update: Dang, I just found out Sharp has a 108-inch LCD...I'll track it down tomorrow.)

LG didn't have the TV up on the show floor (at least not yet), but we spied it in a private LG meeting room off the beaten, which we walked into unchallenged.

Keep tabs on this photostream to see all our shots from CES 2007!

Also worth a look: Gizmodo's sneak shots from yesterday.
