You've only got a few hours to kill at the show this year? Here's what you should see with your own eyes, if at all possible. If you can't catch the Seven Wonders of the World, don't miss the Five Wonders of CES.

Sharp's 108-inch LCD (pictured) - The biggest flat-panel TV in the world is no longer a plasma but an LCD, though Sharp's 1920 x 1080-pixel custom-rigged monster has met with some iffy reviews. The 100-inch LCD from LG looks a lot, ahem, sharper. (Alas, neither are actually for sale in the real world.)

Asus XG Station - The first ever external video card, designed for letting graphics-limited laptops play high-end 3D games. It works.

SanDisk Sansa Connect - The coolest new MP3 player on the show floor. It takes the wirelessness of the Zune and does it less stupidly: You share files via a subscription to a music service (not yet announced) instead of via an ad hoc network. It's the size of a business card, stores 8GB of tunes, has real-time Internet radio, and more. The SanDisk booth is ridiculously busy, be warned.

LG Total DVD Player - Sure, it's not much to look at, but this $1,200 player that can handle both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs could be the first shot in the war to end the high-def standards slapfight.

Yahoo! Go - Hey, had to plug the mothership. The Yahoo! Mobile Search stuff is cool, but if you come by the Yahoo! booth, you can get a free ice cream cone, complete with candy mix-ins and everything. It's like a gadget you can eat. Wave to your Yahoo! Tech staff, operating out of the back of the Yahoo! booth!

Of course that's just the tip of the iceberg. Rest assured, all the Yahoo! Tech bloggers will be covering much more cool gear for the next three days. Check our full coverage here!

Having for and with an electronics manufacturer I know that our Air Traffic Screens have a 1280 pixil size with anti-aliasing or interlacing as you commercial people call it. Why not give us the top of the line and cut the baloney. The lines won't look any straighter to us with 1080p or 1280. Unless of course you want to see the very fine print like an A/C Identification on a Radar Screen.

The Bluetooth headset to look for at CES is Jawbone. It's a Noise Reduction Bluetooth Headset. It silences backround noise and only picks up your voice, and it looks really cool. Here's a demo on Good Morning America yesterday that's posted on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OZP4GUSM7o

Why buy a 100" or 108" LCD when you can get a hi-def projector and have your entire wall as your home theater screen?

I just got a sony 46" XBR2 1080P and it is pretty sweet. I have 6 windows in the room where I put it and theres no glare at all. I tried 3 other tvs and they all had way too much glare. I was going to wait for the XBR3 but saw that it has much more glare. I am pleased and yes it wasnt cheap but I got the 5 year warranty bumper to bumper.

Go forth young ones and consume. Buy buy buy! You absolutely MUST have every new little toy that comes out and it must be at least as good as the ones the cool kids have or better. You must have more GIGABYTES than anyone else, regardless of how much stuff you actually have to put on it. Note: to Parents: Nevermind paying the bills or teaching kids to be respoosible. Just think of the utter humiliation and torture it will be to not have the latest greatest toys. Shovel out their closets of all of last months coolest e-toys to make room for this months e-toys. We are counting on your irrational needs to fuel our business and run you into credit card debt and bankruptcy. Please apply for our latest credit on your way out.

I found the article interesting as to SanDisk. It's share price is now $44.24 (1-9-7 @ 10:47AM) but it was over $60 in October. Will this be a turn-around for SanDisk? Now it's $44.60!!! Wish I was there -- as a former Chocoholic turned Choclatier, my second greatest weakness is ICE CREAM!

"real-time Internet radio"!!! Streaming internet tunes? Who needs gigabytes of storage ontheir player? This is huge (in a tiny player)!

Hey! I've been a Yahoo user since the early days; no one's offered me a free ice cream. BTW, I saw an early view of the Sharp and it's on my wish list for next year.
