You've only got a few hours to kill at the show this year? Here's what you should see with your own eyes, if at all possible. If you can't catch the Seven Wonders of the World, don't miss the Five Wonders of CES.

Sharp's 108-inch LCD (pictured) - The biggest flat-panel TV in the world is no longer a plasma but an LCD, though Sharp's 1920 x 1080-pixel custom-rigged monster has met with some iffy reviews. The 100-inch LCD from LG looks a lot, ahem, sharper. (Alas, neither are actually for sale in the real world.)

Asus XG Station - The first ever external video card, designed for letting graphics-limited laptops play high-end 3D games. It works.

SanDisk Sansa Connect - The coolest new MP3 player on the show floor. It takes the wirelessness of the Zune and does it less stupidly: You share files via a subscription to a music service (not yet announced) instead of via an ad hoc network. It's the size of a business card, stores 8GB of tunes, has real-time Internet radio, and more. The SanDisk booth is ridiculously busy, be warned.

LG Total DVD Player - Sure, it's not much to look at, but this $1,200 player that can handle both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs could be the first shot in the war to end the high-def standards slapfight.

Yahoo! Go - Hey, had to plug the mothership. The Yahoo! Mobile Search stuff is cool, but if you come by the Yahoo! booth, you can get a free ice cream cone, complete with candy mix-ins and everything. It's like a gadget you can eat. Wave to your Yahoo! Tech staff, operating out of the back of the Yahoo! booth!

Of course that's just the tip of the iceberg. Rest assured, all the Yahoo! Tech bloggers will be covering much more cool gear for the next three days. Check our full coverage here!

No, the new LG dual HD DVD player will not help end the high-def standards fight. It will prolong it and capital resources will continue to be wasted by movie studios and equipment manufacturers on competing formats.

These are your top 5? Did you not the Apple presentation? The iPhone is going to dominate the mobile phone market when it is released in June. There has not been more excitement about mobile media/communications since Motorola released the sleek (but outdated) RAZR. The appleTV is a necessity, considering the market for iTunes products. Apple has 75% of the marketshare for mp3 players, and over 80% of Microsoft employees chose to buy the iPod over the Zune. Appple is has limitless creative boundaries and the most innovative team of experts on display.

$1200 for a dvd player. You gotta be kidding. All I can say is some people have much more money than sense.

Ice cream -- you scream? I love ice cream as much as anyone else but GET REAL dude!! The point of CES is to take in all you can on the new GADGETS, not fat calories! A REAL #5 not to miss would be KVH's new DirecTV Car with Broadband. It's live satellite TV, live broadband internet access and live local channels - in your car. Oh yeah, tailgate parties, camping trips, and those long rides in the car with the kids will never be the same! Sure, then you can head off for some ice cream at Yahoo! -- because if you've really gotta go, you can take it with you!

I think making a larger tv is rediculous, sometime you just have to stop and except things as they are.
