Here's a nifty story from PC World about where you should go to do your high-tech shopping. How do I know it's so good? Because I wrote it, that's how.
We polled more than 5,000 readers about their shopping experiences, both online and off, at large chains and smaller stores. From Best Buy and CompUSA to Amazon and TigerDirect, readers weighed in on their favorite places to shop, where you can get the best prices, who has the least-hassle returns, and more.
The results? For online shopping, NewEgg won top honors, with TigerDirect close behind. Offline, results were less clear-cut, with Staples and Office Depot generally winning out over the tech-focused chains and warehouse stores. It's a long story, so if you're just looking for the best prices, head over to this page. Also be sure to check out the sections on buying used gear and rebates.
Happy shopping.
