Travel guidebooks only give you so much flavor of a destination. When I visit a new locale, I like to hear from someone who's been there firsthand. See some pictures. Hear some stories.
ZoomAndGo.com is like the traveling buddy you didn't know you had, a guy full of video, photographs, and tales from his far-flung adventures to Kingston, Phnom Penh, and Gura Humorului.
ZoomAndGo is a travel site with a twist: Users can upload photos and videos from their trips. Search for a hotel in Maui and you not only get the usual listings, you also get photos and videos of the region that haven't been filtered through the usual corporate lens. The site is still growing, but it's already got a decent amount of content to peruse: The company claims 10,000 video clips offering reviews and insider advice already.
And it's not just for vacation destinations. ZoomAndGo covers Kansas City, Orlando, Dallas, and all your usual conferencing locales.
