Surprise, surprise: Seems that Blockbuster is hard at work on a set-top box that would stream movies directly to your TV. My question to Blockbuster: What took you so long?

Blu-ray... I'm not even going to touch that one. As far as what the article "actually" describes; I think if blockbuster was smart they would sign the members up for the box through the stores and make them pay a deposit with credit card verification... maybe like $100-200. Then charge the same price Direct TV, or Dish or any other competitor would charge per movie. If they were even smarter than that, they would give the option to "keep" the movie and allow you to pick it up in the store as a new/used copy.

THEY NEED BLU-RAY ON THERE SET-TOP BOX...HAVE YOU TRIED RENTING THE LATEST BLU-RAY RELEASE ON BLOCKBUSTER ONLINE????? IT'S ALWAYS A "LONG WAIT" OR "VERY LONG WAIT" USUALLY 4-6WEEKS OR MORE!!!!!...BLOCKBUSTER NEEDS TO RELEASE MORE COPIES OF BLU-RAY!! THE FORMAT WAR IS OVER! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?!?!?!?!?!?
