Looks like the spy shots of the long-rumored BlackBerry 9000 were right on target. Now dubbed the Bold, the latest BlackBerry—complete with 3.5G HSDPA support—boasts a sleek new design and what looks to be a razor-sharp display, but it's not on sale quite yet.

What is sad is the fact the very same "Gadget Hound" Mr. Petterson bashed this phone about a week ago. He just couldn't stand the fact it is going to have Win Mobile. A Microsoft hater I guess, which is fine by me. But when you are reviewing a gadget, try to stay unbiased and describe what you see, have read, or been told without much emotional attachments. I read his review and I was convinced that this is going to be a lame product. Somehow, I stumbbled accross other reviews that described the device as a potential iPhone rival. I guess you tried to get on the good side of the readers who for some reason they are unaware of happen to hate Microsoft. It is the new trend, get an Apple product and hate Microsoft and you are a rebel and you are "cool".

It is by far the coolest phone on the market in my opinion. It does everything work and unwork related.

How does the device compare in size to the curve? This is definitely a sexy device, but until the man-purse becomes an acceptable alternative in the U.S., device size is very important for me. My pockets can only hold so much. It looks a bit bulkier and the screen looks a little more crowded. I think these two factors, for my needs anyway, put it a bit behind the Curve, so to speak.
