Think there's little to do on cruise ships besides play shuffleboard, get sick and come perilously close to reenacting "The Poseidon Adventure"? Think again. The gamers at Wired News' Game|Life blog have uncovered plans by the Norwegian Cruise Line to bring Nintendo Wii goodness to its fleet.

According to Game|Life, the cruise line has already installed a series of Wiis—along with plenty of big-screen monitors—on all of its NCL America ships, including the brand-new Norweigian Pearl, and plans call for Wiis to be on every Norweigian ship by next month. The Wiis are installed in the ships' atriums and other "public areas," and "cheering, yelling and high-fives will be highly encouraged," crows NCL president and CEO Colin Veitch. Gotcha. Naval gamers can choose between such games as Wii Sports, Wii Play, WarioWare, Smooth Moves and Excite Truck; sorry, no word on Godfather or Madden NFL 07. Just keep your hands away from the buffet and hold onto the nearest railing while you play.

No Mario or Zelda? (although playing Twilight Princess might turn into The Wind Waker if the player isn't careful)
