Want that best-selling book that's getting featured on Oprah? Or how about the CD from the band that's on Letterman tonight? Both will be a click of your TV remote away, thanks to a partnership between TiVo and Amazon.

Hey don't give them any ideas! Live theater is just about the only place you're safe from advertising these days....well if you don't count the thousands of ads in the program.
It sounds like a great idea on the face of it, but let's see how this plays out. If our favorite shows becomes another infomercial that could be very bad for shows. I just hope it tastefully done so that it doesn’t take away from the main reason you tuned in. Trish – Los Angeles
As a series 2 owner I have to say this is another great addition from TiVo and knowing how they value their customers I have no doubt that this new option will in no way interfere with normal viewing.
Please tell me how this is a great option? Do you own TiVo stock? Impulse shopping without any price comparison- Great Idea!!! For nitwits who need a TV show to help them buy something- wowowowowo. Silliness. Forget the part of interfering with a TV show. Please explain to me how you the TiVo consumer can enjoy this new feature? Are they reducing prices to provide this feature? Who gets richer?

What a ridiculous idea. The point of a TV show is to have a plot. Not to sell something. This concept accurately depicts how America leads the charge of the crumbling Western CIV world. Imagine Romeo and Juliet interrupted by a guy running across the stage with an add saying Buy This!!! How silly!!
