Filed last month, the new class-action lawsuit is based in part on a recent—and damning—report that alleged Microsoft knew about the Xbox 360's "Red Ring of Death" problems well before launch.

Your logic is correct Mr. Patterson. Although I haven't bought a 360 yet. I did have to buy 3 of the old Xbox when they were released. And someone should sue Sony also since their consoles often crash too. Innovation and collaboration among all humans is inevitable! How long do you want it to take?
Microsoft failed to set up thorough quality assurance tests before launch? Really? how thoroughly Microsoft of them!
I am on my 4th XBOX 360, Thanks to a third party warranty. This was all due to the RROD. I had to buy a third party cooler to keep it from over heating. Hmm ... looks like the best support and remedies were all third party.
So, what exactly is the Red Ring of Death? I see the picture, but what does it do?
