After a three-year reign at the top of U.S. handset sales charts, the mighty Motorola RAZR V3 had at last been dethroned. The new king of the county? You guessed it: The iPhone 3G.

I love my iphone 3g. I went from sprint to att even though the data plan was more and the phone was 325 out the door. I know that apple updates its products regularly but I don't mind I would rather pay for a good phone than to have something like a razor that limits me in my experience. To answer the question, yes I would rather spend more than to get something that 'just makes a call'.
Wow, I'd bet they would sell even more...if they weren't LOCKED DOWN TO ONE NETWORK!!!! I'd get one if they worked with Verizon. I hear rumors for next year.
Although I love my iPhone, i miss my MMS and some other basic functions my other phones had, lately I find myself coveting the Blackberry Storm
Its all about usability. iPhone is the most Beautiful easy-to-use device and of course most Useful device I have seen in the recent years and I think this is the only reason it topped the charts. Sachin

While I continue to be in awe of my (original) iPhone and love it, I find it sadly so unreliable (notably mail problems), that I have no choice but to always carry a second phone (Nokia 6555) as an alternative/back-up.
