After a three-year reign at the top of U.S. handset sales charts, the mighty Motorola RAZR V3 had at last been dethroned. The new king of the county? You guessed it: The iPhone 3G.

I liked the fact that you can create Apps for the iPhone and also buy useful Apps that others have created for a very reasonable price. I think that the iPhone is the most useful and customizable phone out there. I would definitely pay more for the iPhone!
Who has the extra $30 a month, plus the cost of the phone? I'd be tempted if it was $150, no data plan and the service was on Verizon.
my 3rd RAZR after many Moto products in the past... The current one will be my last - reliability and software issues with all. Bye-bye Moto!
I don't want to make love to my cell phone!! I want to make or receive a call and put the darn thing away.
very impressive especially with only one carrier ..
Apple seriously needs to stop being stubborn and put in the basic features already. All iPhone users have been waiting since 07 to at least get video recording and Mms. My old razr v3i had iTunes and did Mms and video recording. Steve jobs is more than capable of installing that in, yet he chooses not to do it. They could choose to have the ultimate mobile phone, but they don't yet cause the iPhone doesn't have the features of a basic camera phone that does video and mms. Drop the stinginess steve Jobs and do your job! It's not that hard. Your starting to upset some people by not simply adding those 2 missing basic functions.
i wouldn't buy an iPhone if it was $99! at least the RAZR has MMS and a video camera, which is mandatory for me. the Nokia N95... now THAT is a great phone! other than the "kewl" touchscreen... its better than the iPhone in just about every specification.
I would shall out the money for the iphone, it is worthed. I have 5 lines with AT&T and 3 of them are iphones....... Once you have an iphone it is really really hard to use anything else.
I am a RAZR lover. I got it when it first came out for $500, and unfortunately it was stolen last year. In this time I have yet to get as excited about any new phones out there. The design is wonderful and the features are just right. iPhone seems a little brittle to me. I've dropped my RAZR multiple times and it worked great.
Seems Verizon has delete the Razr2 V9 From there web site and their retail company stores. But then the problems I have had with mine its may be no wonder is on its way out.
Hardly a fair comparison (sales of iphone vs. RAZR) since none of the AT&T stores in our market carry the RAZR any longer. I have internet access at home, at work and on my portable computer, and don't feel compelled to surf the net or text while driving around, so I'm quite happy with my RAZR. I think they quit making them. If you want one, just buy a compatible RAZR "Go Phone" and swap out the SIM card. That's what I did.

I could sacrifice the full keypad on my phone. I easily text more than talk.
