Get ready for "The Lost and Damned," slated to roar onto Xbox Live early next year. Expect several more hours of fast and furious gameplay, along with a new (ahem) hero, Johnny Klebitz.
USA Today has the skinny on the long-awaited downloadable add-on to "Grand Theft Auto IV," which has made a killing (not counting those committed by our old pal Niko) since its release back in April.
"The Lost and the Damned" will pop up in the Xbox Live Marketplace on February 17, USA Today reports. Pricing is still TBA, although analysts are anticipating a price tag in the $15-$20 range, along with a probable "M" ESRB rating (well,
duh), according to the paper. Bad news, PlayStation 3 gamers: the upcoming DLC will only be for the Xbox 360 (and yes, you'll need a retail copy of GTA IV to play).
So, what's the plot? Well, Rockstar's unsurprising keeping the details under wraps, although company exec Dan Houser told USA Today a few tantalizing details.
First off: Niko Bellic only plays a bit part in the story. Instead, you'll meet (and play as) Johnny Klebitz, who runs with "The Lost," Liberty City's premier biker gang (which figured prominently in several GTA IV missions).
Yes, and ... ? Well, actually, that's pretty much all that Houser revealed, except to say that "The Lost and Damned" will "show you a different side of Liberty City," and that "tons of details and mysteries from the main story get explained." Gotcha.
So, looking forward to the DLC? Had enough with GTA IV? Annoyed that there's still no DLC announcement for PS3? Sound off.
