Spotted online: Discounts of $100 and more for various MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and iMacs. Also: Apple tees up Black Friday deals for its online store.

Both MacMall and Best Buy have (luckily for us) begun their Black Friday sales early, and Macrumors has a handy chart that summarizes the best deals. Among them: the new 15-inch, 2.4Ghz MacBook Pro for $250 off (MacMall), the 13-inch 2.4GHz MacBook for $150 off (Best Buy), and the 1.8GHz solid state-storage MacBook Air for $179 off (MacMall). Also on sale: the 2.8GHz Mac Pro, 20- and 24-inch iMacs, and the 17-inch 2.5GHz MacBook Pro. Click through to Macrumors for all the details, and keep in mind that while some sale prices include "instant" discounts, others involve mail-in rebates.

Fortune's Apple blog has a bead on Black Friday Apple sales at B&H Photo, Amazon, and Club Mac, which are all offering discounts of $100 and up on the $999 white MacBook.

Meanwhile, Apple is advertising a one-day online "shopping event" for Friday—no details yet, beyond a promise of "great iPod, iPhone, and Mac gift ideas."

And here's a tip for Apple shoppers, courtesy of AppleInsider: Apple clerks may match lower prices if you bring in the published ad to the store (subject to approval by the store manager), so don't forget to bring those Best Buy fliers when you visit your local Apple outlet on Friday.

Apple obviously thinks their recession proof from the look of these "discounts", hopefully they pay for their arrogance.
