Want the right wristwatch to go with that new $88,000 Vertu phone on your belt? Check out this platinum watch from Swiss timepiece-maker Ulysse Nardin, a one of a kind (or rather, 99 of a kind) gem that gives you a UFO's-eye view of the Earth—all for the bargain price of $100,000.

No, it's not encrusted with jewels and it doesn't do Bluetooth, but the Tellurium J. Kepler Limited Edition watch (only 99 were made) has something you won't find on your everyday Timex: a rotating representation of the globe as it might be seen from above the North Pole, complete with a flexible spring representing the terminator between day and night, plus a perpetual calendar that makes a complete rotation once a year. Oh, and it's water resistant to 30 meters, although I'm not sure how the leather wrist strap will handle salt water.

If u own a 10million dolar house and a 2hundred thousand dollar car your suits cost in excess of 1 thousand dollars each and your shoes are around 5hundred or more why not buy a 100thousand dollar watch it all goes together

wow, dude, seriously, for less than 100K, i could buy the top of the line GPS systeam, a watch, a calender, and a globe, along with a nice car, and maybe a small house

I think the price on these gizmos is too less for the rich kids. I think it should be something like 2.5 million dollars. So, they can brag more about these gizmos. Also, we need to put sanction on Dollar General Store so they don't replicate this type of gizmos till mid 2008.

I don't know why this POS watch is on here. I bet the author got paid to put it on here. Honestly there are many other watches in the 200K range!

If I ever get to the point where I'm so useless that I can't think of anything better to do with $100,000.00...please, kill me.

And forget the fact that half the world is making $2 a day. Why not waste your money on a watch that shows the same feature as google earth, when you could help starving children living in one bedroom houses with 6 siblings in Romania?

It's an interesting idea, but surely they could have brought the price down a bit.

Man that thing better predict the weather forcast for up to 2 months let u know when and where the next hurricance gone hit,and if thats the case maybe all those rich people on the titantic should have had this watch and most of them wouldnt have had to indeer such a frigid watery grave.

WOW... lol, you all have pretty much covered all the bases. If anyone else is wondering whether that watch tells time, just think, if it didnt tell time it wouldnt be a watch. As for the style, it looks like something that I found in the bottom of cereal box when i was younger. The funny part is many people are so rich that they really dont have anything important to spend their money on and they are bored. Like someone else said, its all about saying that i have a 100K watch that looks like ----- and you dont so hah. Most people, rich or not, are too greedy to share their money when they have some extra, but thats capitalism for you. This watch is certainly a waste and so are many other things that we want for instance a $600 phone. Last but not least, I TOTALLY AGREE that this is not news and should have never been posted as such. There are so many more important things happening in the world than rich persons' toy. If everyone could ban together and do something to help the earth and everyone else in it instead of wondering about how u would look with this new gadget that you dont really need this earth would be so much improved...

Trash... Not only in the watch repulsive looking, it's a complete waste of money and TIME. I think Father Time just rolled over in his grave one hundred thousand times.

A house or a watch with a globe on it? Three cars or a watch with a globe on it? A college education or a watch with a globe on it? Stupidity at its finest lady's and gentleman.
