Sony finally took the wraps off the "worst-kept secret of E3": the PSP Go, the "next step in the evolution" of Sony's PlayStation portable line, complete with slide-out controls, 16GB of flash memory, no UMD drive—and a $249 price tag.

"the $249 price tag is pricier than I expected" say too overpriced, even the mylo sales for $199 and has touchscreen and camera. how you justify a price increase, with everything stripped away or reduced in size, just adding bluetooth and flash (both really cheap this days) i would pay $249 with a touchscreen, camera and gps... maybe. also what about the second analog, it had the space in design and not, they put the select and start together instead. for the PSPgo as now, i would never pay more than $149, $249 heck no, not in a 1000 years
The Go will not replace the PSP-3000? Just like the DS wasn't going to replace the Game Boy, right? It'll happen eventually.
This PSP verision is hardly what we have all been wanting out of it. I am glad to see a slimmer design but until they add a phone feature to the PSP(whatever version) it's just not worth the trade. Sony needs to keep up with it's competitors on this one and one up them. Phone / GPS / Touch screen / blue tooth otherwise we are just looking at an advance version of Game gear(sega's portable game system, for you noobs)
Imma hold on to my PSP 2000 til go!Explore comes out for N. America PSP. and $250 IS a surprise of a tag, but might be worth it...Sounds like most of that price tag is for the internal memory tho...yes?

ehh... well my psp-2000 series can do all that, so i guess i will just hold on to it for now until i c a real reason to get the new one, other than just the 16 gb of memory... which is nice btw
