Looks like customer service actually does come through once in awhile. Determined to find out the exact street date for the Apple iPhone, a reporter for CNET News.com picked up the phone and called AT&T's customer service number. The rep on the other end helpfully volunteered that the much-anticipated touch-screen phone will hit stores on June 11. CNET also points out that June 11 just so happens to be the first day of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, where word has it that Apple's upcoming Leopard OS will take center stage. Coincidence? Doesn't seem likely.

What's dumb is carrying around a phone, ipod, camera and computer, when you can carry around just one thing and that one thing will do everything! They do sell one with 8GB and they are only going to get better then they are. I suggest you take the time to view the Apple Conference when they announced the release of the iphone and watch the demonstrations of it. You would probably change your mind on 'what about document viewing?' and 'what about wi-fi?' iphone is going to be easy to use, light weight, portable and fun. You'll be able to not only take pictures but store hundreds and thousands of songs AND pictures, check email, access the internet, play games, and make phone calls all at the same time. Nokia's buisness phone is bulky and not attractive looking at all. It doesn't sell to consumers when things look like that. Take the over a MILLION peopole who have already inquired about the iphone! Obviously people can't wait and are going to be waiting around the block for this phone. It will take off just like the ipod. Apple makes nothing but quality products and the price will only go down in the future even though its not that bad when you think about what you are getting.
the IPhone honeymoon is definitely over. Take a cold, hard look at the IPhone's features, not to mention the sky-high price tag, most people have concluded that beyond Apple's characteristically smooth, intuitive interface, there's nothing all that earth------ tering in store.
I have to agree with "chrissyandersen" why would you want to worry about carrying all those different things around (camera,phone,ipod...etc.)when its all in on devise. so who cares if it has a 2mega pixel camera, (how often do you really use that thing anyway) just the internet and wigitets, alone, will impress you enough to buy the iphone. And, with your typical "smart phones" if you can even call them 'Smart' they are all the same, you have your same QWERKY keyboard that make the phone all bulky and well... UGLY. This devise is sleek and small and just looks really really HOT. I think you all should watch the video on Apple.com where steve jobs talks about the iphone for about a hour if you watch that whole thing i think you all will be dishing out the $599 to buy the 8GB model of the Iphone...i no i am.
the iphone is soo good looking i will buy it myself when it comes out i dont care how much it will be its probably the most amazingly looking phone ive ever seen!!
The Sony Bravia LCD is a work of art. This 1080p high definition monitor looks crisp and bright. Col ...

Nice looking crazy phone, but nonetheless dumb... 2 megapixels is so common these days, and the iPhone doesn't seem to have any great feature to top Nokia's Business phones, with wi-fi, hspda, 3G, %-megapixels, EGPRS, 3.5G, Carl Zeiss Lens or compared to Sony's exclusive unique line of designer phones and Walkman phones. And 4GB of memory is so small, I would rather buy some amazing phone and an iPod instead, The application features doesn't seem to go far from those installed. And there is no telling how much flaw could there be. I mean, what about Wi-Fi? What about document viewing? That too much touchscreen is not going to work, not with people rushing around so much to bother slowly picking at those numbers. We need buttons, one dial to go, time is gold. And i believe there is no flash. With that sluggish camera, and a lousy 2 megapixels, I'd rather buy another N70, which can easily be jammed pack with applications such as games, dictionaries, world maps etc. And you're not fooling us with the prize, oh no...
