The editors at PC World teamed up with wireless testing firm Novarum to take a "single-day snapshot" of nationwide 3G wireless performance. The results? Verizon Wireless gets the "speed demon" award and Sprint leads the pack in reliability, while AT&T suffers from a dependability gap.

Sprint gets alsome 3G and good reception in miami and lower homestead
ur all gay.
version wireless always will WIN (I have version)-stranger#81
I have sprint and never seem to have any issues, they've been making a big deal about the iphone from day one, but there always seems to issues with their software. I thought about getting one but no way.
ahhh i love AT&T, and its very reliable, except when its time to download a MMS message!!! STUPID 3G
This study proves the troglodytes who claim to run AT&T are nothing more than grossly overpaid, out of touch, bureaucratic technological Neanderthals incapable of understanding and deploy new technology in a timely or reliable manner. When Apple wakes up and makes the iPhone available to companies other than AT&T, I am leaving AT&T, likely leaving forever. As Rainman said about K-mart, AT&T SUCKS!
I have had AT&T for years. signals are getting worse, prices are going up,Thinking about switching to Verizon.
ATT 3G is awesome! all you complaining about crappy att3G probably live in rural areas.. I stay connected to 3g all the time
we use at&t for our handheld computers at work and i get loads of complaints where we have 4 or 5 barsa nd the connection fails, I am stuck with them due to hardware integration. :
I wouldn't mind an iPhone but can't deal with AT&T - need reliability over flash. Had Verizon for years, went to AT&T to try but had to go back - fast...
you ATT people dont know a quality provider until it hits you in the face. i had an iphone when it first came out and the reception was horrible, now it's a paper weight. i am happy with my blacberry storm and verizon
To anyone that knows anything about cell phone service you can't compare the two. You have one that is CMDA network. And at&t which is 3g network. You are trying to compare a Porsche ( which is know for speed ) which is at&t and a Mustang. You just can not compare the two. I had every service under the sun and at&t has been the best hands down. I use the Blackberry Bold and the iPhone 3g S. Both are great phones. Both for stateside and international use.
We had verizon for two years. Many dropped calls. AT&T for the last three years, no dropped calls. End of story.
I recently purchased a Samsung Exclaim phone and have my coverage through Sprint, and the coverage is fantastic. I have unlimited text, data, GPS navigation, etc. included and have had no issues with anything at all and the 3G network has been very reliable and very fast. I think that Sprint is underrated and that AT&T receives too much hype for what it is, not to mention the plans with AT&T are EXPENSIVE for what you get. Just my two cents.
Been an AT&T customer for nearly ten years and lived in three different states. Never had any problems with my service.
I love VZW. I've had it for years and I think they are tops. AT&T is the world leader in "Dead Zones". It's Verizon Wireless by far. Interesting article...
Yahoo sucks verizon's ballsack....because they have the SLOWEST 3G network in all my experiences...the blackberry storm sucks and has a 60% return rate and thats their only decent phone. Plus they are CDMA and their customer service SUCKS...they were started in upstate NY and are losing customers to ATT so this biased report comes out. And when was the last time any of you saw Verizon people without the same 3 phones.
AT&T SUCKS!!!!!! I have an iPhone and i loose more calls than ever. No service, searching for service, dropped calls all features of AT&T service. I live in Knoxville but travel work. In New York City- NO SERVICE, San Franciso- NO SERVICE, Seattle Washington- NO SERVICE, Portland Orgeon- NO SERVICE....just a sample. AT&T is over priced.
i like sim cards so im with t-moble good phones i love that you can buletooth ring tones i hate verizon you cant buletooth ringtones plus if i break my phone i can get a unlocked phone so att phones work with tmoble sim cards i can geet the lg xenon unlocked to work with tmoble for free sprint blockes buletoth file transfer so you cant gett free ringtons so go with a sim card company
