Just hours before its "rock and roll" music event was set to kick off in San Francisco, Apple went ahead and chopped the price of its entire iPod Touch line by as much as $120. Also: price cuts for the Nano, Classic. Update: Apple just announced updated iPod Touches and Nanos with different price tags than those initially revealed earlier today; more details here. The prices listed below have now disappeared from the online Apple Store.

The Apple on-line store does not reflect the new prices - at least on the Nano.
