Want that $100 Apple Store credit that Steve Jobs promised to early iPhone purchasers? Here's how to cash it in.

Apple just posted instructions on its Web site on how to get your $100 (assuming you bought an iPhone before August 22). It's pretty simple, and I just did it myself. Browse to this page, then enter your iPhone phone number and serial numbers; within about a minute or so, you should get an SMS with an access code. Go back to the Apple Web site and plug that access code in, and voilà! You're ready to spend your credit at the Apple Store.

So…what are you going to buy with your credit? And are you still mad about last week's $200 price cut on the 8GB iPhone? Sound off!

I think the hate mail is done now. Nobody seems mad about the cut anymore, and for the people who got the rebate- they're happy now too.
