Apple has admitted that a "small number" of the screens on its new iPod Touch have trouble displaying dark images. Now let's see if Cupertino takes the next step and replaces the glitchy Touches free of charge.

"It Just Works!" *rolls on floor laughing* Hmmm....
2 years ago when I was living in Japan, the phones there were more advanced than the Iphone... Mine even had the rotating view screen that everyone swears Apple came up with. I think Apple is a company that cares nothing of its costomers. (Which is why I'll never buy one of it's products!)
delumpcious5600 still uses a sony MD player.. LMFAO!!
I would love to get a one!!!
Haha every Apple product has something wrong with it.
Of course they are going to replace all of them for free, like it was mentioned, all new Apple products come with a standard one year warranty. I really don't understand the importance of this article at all, and certainly not the negative tone of it, every new product has issues, and certainly Apple is still far above average in the customer service dpartment. Also for those who complain about the iPhone, the only real complaint about it is the price drop, which last time I checked has absolutely nothing to do with the actual functionality of it, so I don't really understand what there is to talk about.
That's why their products lead the market loser. Go play with your Microsoft touch product. Oh that's right they don't have one.
nuff people say they know they cant believe, jamaica we have a bobsled team (repeat once) we have the one derice, and the one jr., yule brenner, and the man sanka the fastest of the fastest of jamaican sprinters, go to olymipcs, fight for jamaica (repeat everything except for that last part) the fastest of the fastest of jamaican sprinters, respect to the man irv blitser

Tone of this piece is a real cheap shot. Apple has owned up to defects in the past and has always made it right for customers -- sometimes even in cases where it didn't believe it was wrong. The author of the piece is a typical Apple basher.
ugh, another technology failure. just give up..jesus!
since they r so expensive, they should be replaced for free. whoever bought them deserves that much.
Apple is a great company and has a history of excellent product and coustomer satisfaction. I am a touch owner and the problem ( which is being made such a big issue ) is that low resolution dark images are not displayed very clearly or more rather as clear as the other images. Apple is just going through a bad phase and I am sure it will work this problem out. Steve Jobs is a great innovator!
all you ppl keep on criticizing apple's products. betcha can't even do stuff lym them
I have already had problems with the Ipod and Itunes that I have purchased, so I surely would not buy another one of their products anyway.
There's always something wrong with new products. It's not just Apple, everyone. I only hope they do more than own up to this, though. Their customers deserve a replacement. It would be a smart move on Apple's part.
for those who wants to buy iphone, check first of your area if there is AT&T network? if none? dont buy iphone. my iphone now is on display waiting to go other states that have AT&T network.
wowow

That's what the 'in-the-now', 'trendy', 'cool', dumbass people get for even having purchased an iPod Touch. It's a worthless product... Buy the iPhone or buy an iPod 'Classic'.
