So, is Microsoft about to announce some new Zunes today? Who can say, but a couple of renderings of flash-based Zunes just appeared on the FCC's Web site.

Engadget is reporting that the documents show two separate flash-based Zunes: one with 8GB of memory and another with 4GB, each with built-in Wi-Fi. The FCC drawings look an awful lot like the fuzzy pictures on Engadget from yesterday, so it looks like we may be onto something here. The filings also include details on what looks to be an FM transmitter add-on along with a dock. That said, there's nothing in the FCC documents about the rumored new hard drive-based player, which supposedly was delayed due to a loose wire.
