Think your current remote has too many buttons? Think again. Check out this design concept from Art Lebedev (the outfit that brought you the $1,500 Optimus Maximus keyboard): the Pultius, a remote control with more than 100 buttons, or one for every channel on your TV.

Engadget reports that the design calls for a 20-inch wand with a total of 102 keys (not counting the navigations controls and the power button)—and no, there's no estimated price for this remote, since it's really just an artist's rendering for now. Obviously, there are problems with the design: namely, what about those of us who have, say, 600 channels instead of just 100? (Then again, how many of those 600 channels do you regularly watch?) Also, keep in mind that the pricey Optimus Maximus keyboard comes with OLED keys that can change their symbols in a flash, so imagine each key on the remote lit up with custom network logos (such as ABC, MTV, ESPN HD, Discover HD Theater, and so on).

So, what do you think of Art Lebedev's design? Inspired? Crazy? Sound off!
