No matter how many kills they've racked up, wanna-be Master Chiefs can't survive solely on (as one Digger so eloquently put it) "the tears of other gamers" that they've fragged. As the hours wear on, even the most frenzied gamers can't ignore their growing hunger pangs. Bring on the munchies!

Start Cooking has a list of 23 top snacks for marathon gaming, and believe it or not, we're not just talking Fritos here. Almost half of the goodies on the list are (gasp!) healthy, bite-sized items. Salsa is one of them (although then you've gotta pause to dip a chip—not good for the aim), as is hummus, feta cheese (crumbled over Greek olives or tomatoes...mmmm), whole-grain bread with cheese, or even (groan) a fruit-and-vegetable platter. Feeding a slightly more refined group of gamers? Try yogurt dip (great energy food), pakora, or even sushi (easy to eat, and perfect for brainy Command & Conquer players). Finally, there's the oldies but goodies: pizza rolls, Gummy Bears (which won't muck up your controller with sticky stuff), popcorn (good for one-handed shoveling), and nachos (one-handed eating again, but kinda messy).

Click through to Start Cooking for the full list, and don't forget, gamers: in addition to food, a little sleep goes a long way toward keeping your hands steady and your aim true.
