Attention, PSP gamers: Now you can download themes, wallpapers, demos, and full PS1 games for your favorite gaming handheld, all without a PlayStation 3.

Kotaku reports that Sony just launched a PC version of PlayStation Store, complete with a downloadable utility that lets you transfer content directly to your PSP. It's a welcome change for PSP owners, who previously needed a PS3 to access the store.

Among the full PSP games available for download: Wipeout Pure, Gangs of London, and Syphon Filter: Combat Ops, plus more than a dozen PS1 titles, such as Spyro the Dragon and Twisted Metal 2. Also on tap are a handful of PSP and PS3 game trailers, along with five themes and 11 wallpapers.

So, PSP owners: Looking forward to downloading more goodies for your favorite gaming handheld?
