The popular Ocean smartphone just got its very own YouTube application, and it's a doozy. Not only can you upload and geo-tag videos to the service (an existing, and now streamlined, feature on the Ocean), you can also sign in and rate videos, leave comments, and post video replies to existing YouTube clips. Just try that with the iPhone.
Mobile YouTube applications are nothing new—Verizon had one last year, and of course the iPhone has its own built-in (and reasonably impressive) YouTube app. But while you can browse and watch YouTube videos on the iPhone, you can't sign in to your account, rate videos, or post responses, much less respond to videos with your own, recorded-on-the-fly video clip.
Available today (for the Ocean only; users of other Helio phones are out of luck), the free app looks pretty slick, and it lets you sign in and access your YouTube subscriptions, playlists, videos, and received videos. The program can also tag your videos with GPS coordinates before uploading them to the service. I haven't had a chance to try the just-announced app myself, but the 3G-capable Ocean should be able to upload videos relatively quickly (and, hopefully, in the background as well).
All in all, pretty impressive. And for you Ocean owners out there, give the new app a try and tell us what you think.

Being neither Apple or MS devoted follower, I find it very difficult to get an honest opinion of the new Zune. To many bias opinions....
I wish I would've went with the Helio Ocean instead of my t-mobile phone. It just seems a lot nicer and has more apps-I don't even think that my Samsung t629 has any apps lol
i HAte YOU tube
First off...I LOVE MY HELIO OCEAN. And second I didnt think I would like You Tube, but in this format....its great! Its quick to load (had bugs the first couple of days, but its smooth now)and its nice to have the option of actualy making a video and uploding it to You Tube while on the fly.....very cool! I hope they keep the new apps coming....and forget the "Mysto", I cant wait for the new version of the Ocean (and not that flimsy, cheepo thing that T-Mobil is selling) to grace us with its querty goodness once again ;)
