In the wake of a rumored buyout, I was moved to open my dead-tech drawer and gaze at my PalmPilot, Zire, and Tungsten, reminders of a simpler day. To read a viewpoint of the buyout with less poetic license, see my next post. And feel free to add verses.
Ode to a Palm
There once was a handheld from Palm
It made old day planners be gone
HotSync and Graffiti
We all learned to be speedy
The whole thing it worked like a charm.
Then cell phones they got pretty good
Ran PDAs right out of the ‘hood
Palm OS it floundered
But Treo astounded
Will a new owner do it some good?
