We've reached the end of my Yahoo! Tech sojourn. I'll be focusing next on a series of events that I'm developing with the Consumer Electronics Association. One event, Kids@Play, grew out of a project I helped found last year called The Sandbox Summit. It will focus on raising kids in the digital world.
The other is a conference/exhibit offering a brand-new look at the way boomers use technology. Stay tuned.
It's been a pure pleasure (well, mostly pure pleasure) to report to you each day, for the last two years, on the digital stuff in our lives. Together, we've been able to relish the good, squash the bad, and get the most out of our products. Your insights and comments made this the most rewarding type of writing assignment I've ever had.
I figured it was fitting for me to leave you with a look at the world of gadgets from a personal perspective. So here's the link to a movie I shot on the streets of New York, asking people about their relationship with the things they carry in their pockets and the stuff they use at home.
Grit Laskin, a talented guitar-maker/songwriter, graciously allowed me to use his very funny song about the email in our lives. Debby Brand, a talented young filmmaker, edited hours of tape down to this three-minute movie. I hope you enjoy watching.
I'm still trying to get the movie to stream and play faster. Any tips? I'm all ears.
Keep connected,
-Robin

This is a very sad day! I have read your posts everyday, you are like a middle line between Null and Hughes. It will be intresting to see who can fill your shoes (I hope they have VERY VERY large feet)
