Does your alma mater have its own YouTube page? Own a few patents? Do wikis? Post lectures to the web? If not, there's no way you're making IntelliGrad's Top 10 Web 2.0 Campuses.
Believing that today's college campus' state of "connectedness" is more about who you know and what you can access than how many PCs you have on campus, IntelliGrad came out with the first Top 10 Web 2.0 Campuses list.
Topping the list is University of California, Berkeley, for having things like iTunes University, its own YouTube page, and a social network for its alumni. In second place is Stanford, based on things like the strength of its entrepreneurship/engineering program, iTunes University, RSS, innovative alumni, and patent collaboration. University of Phoenix was the only online university to make the list.
Others include University of Arizona, MIT, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, Carnegie Mellon, Tufts, and Boston College.
IntelliGrad is taking nominations for next year's list on its site. And while you might find the data points behind the Top 10 rankings a bit sparse, if a Web 2.0 campus is what you're looking for, these are some great schools.
