Meet the Sony PlayStation 3. This beautiful machine is considered to be the Ferrari of game consoles—sleek build, big power, and an even bigger price tag. Watch as my gamer assistant Yoon tackles the analysis for this highly anticipated gaming rig.
His take? The PS3, although very powerful, still needs a bit of work. There aren't very many games available, and Sony's online component is still pretty dry. But, with items like PlayStation Home, Yoon also feels that the PS3 has a ton of potential for growth. Don't count this titan out yet.
Should you jump on the $500-$600 PS3? If living the fast life of luxury gaming is your thing, then by all means, game on!

i personally think its not worth it. why dont they just release new pc games with minimal requirements? it'd be better coz almost every home has a pc or a desknote. but, with these kinds of consoles, u'd have to buy the console AND the games. then again, i think the ps3 is better than the psp...
I been having my ps3 for over a year now and never had any kind of a problem with it.IT is the best console on the market today blu ray 1080p high definition graphics people just need to stop being cheap skates and buy one it,s better than x box and wii put together unless you want to play mario or halo for the rest of your life
the best system on the markets, this will be the year the ps3 take the video crown back.

I picked up a PS3 two days ago. It is overheating and will be shipped to Sony for a fix. According to the Sony Customer Service, the suspect is the cooling fan. I do not know if they are going to replace the fan with a higher output fan or what. No one should expect a new computer based product to be bug free. Atleast Sony is very responsive to take care of the problem.
