With the release of the PS3, Xbox360, and Nintendo Wii, next-gen gaming has come full circle. In the tech and gaming industry, companies usually don’t enjoy being the oldest product out, but in this case, Microsoft is enjoying it's slightly older age.

I rounded up local gaming guru Alex Yoon to help us see just what exactly the deal is with the Xbox. His take? The Xbox 360 has a wider library of games, a robust online matchmaking service, and a great selection of downloadable demos, movies, and other content. And what about the graphics? At 1080p, they look straight-up stunning. He says that, even though there have been a few glitches in the past and there's a need for new hardware revisions, the platform is comprehensive, and you simply can't go wrong.

Don't believe the Yoon? Check out our video review and see for yourself.

I love the Wii, but the XBOX 360 (including the Elite), is one heck of a gaming system. The library is fantastic and Halo 3 is right around the corner. Microsoft is good for something.

personally I love my Xbox, I have had it for 2 years, and have enjoyed every day. If microsoft thinks they can improve on what Bill Gates has started, then I hope they succeed on their task. I have demoed the 360 and plan on buying one, but $600.00 is just too much.

The 360 has a lot of promise, but it needs more E rated stuff.

The older, wiser, and broken 360.. Microsoft might as well fess up and admit that the 360 is a lemon. 30 percent failure rate is intolerable... And I am still waiting for my 360 to be shipped back from them!! after 4 weeks!!
