The HP Laserjet P2015 is all business. It's fast, pumping out 27 pages a minute. It's economical, printing costs average about 2 cents per page. It's efficient, holding 550 sheets of paper in two trays, one of which is adjustable for odd-size paper stock. It's networkable, featuring a built in Ethernet port for hooking up to your business or home network.

Keep in mind this printer produces black and white documents only; there's no color printing. Its resolution is 1200 X 1200 DPI, and it is a printer only: no fax, no copier, and no scanner.

I don't usually write product reviews, but I simply had to warn people to stay away from HP products after being treated so poorly by their "customer support" people. Aside from being bounced from person to person and being told ever-changing stories, or being disconnected, or getting transferred to a forever-ringing line; HP refused to honor their rebate offer that I followed to the letter. They wouldn't give me a reason other than it didn't apply to purchases made at Best Buy, even though there was nothing about that on the original rebate offer. (They have since modified the wording on the offer, but they refused to honor their original terms and conditions. You can see both forms for yourself at the following address: http://picasaweb.google.com/azvenigo/HPDishonorablePractices ) At one point they actually offered to sell me the same printer again for a lower cost and have me return mine back to Best Buy. Naturally I would not take this new offer as they have already treated me so poorly. I explained to them that I had to cut out the proof of purchase to send in the rebate form and that I was stuck with the printer. They basically told me that there was nothing they could do. I will say that the manager, Lois at Best Buy in San Carlos, CA treated me with respect and took care of me. For which I am grateful (hence this note). It is very unfortunate that a company that makes good products has fallen so far in terms of customer support. I was a loyal HP customer, owning two of their desktop computers and having formerly owned a Compaq laptop. Needless to say I will be very hesitant to purchase another HP product. Buyer Beware!

For $250 I got a b/w laser All-In-1 (Brother 7820N)from Office Max and I LOVE IT! It costs $70.00 for a new toner carterage but each one lasts me more then a year and I am a daily printer. I love Brother and can't wait to be able to afford a color laser printer!!

I too received a reply from HP that my rebate was denied because I had purchased my printer from Officemax. I called customer service and explained that there was no mention of that under terms and conditions on their rebate form. The first person thought I was making this all up but the second person acknowledged it was HP's mistake. He said it is unlikely HP will send me the rebate check for $150, but that I might get a lower amount "gift card". Let's see about that. I think of it as a form of "hush money". Very unprofessional.
