The Sony Cybershot W80 is a budget entry in the Sony Cybershot line. It sports 7.2 megapixel resolution, 3X optical zoom, and a 2.5 inch LCD. It comes in multiple colors including silver, black, and pink. It records photos onto Sony's Memory Stick proprietary media format.
It also boasts Sony's new Face Detecting Technology. You may have seen the ads that proclaim "your father is not a horse's behind," basically asserting that the camera can recognize a face and make sure its in focus as opposed to other things in the shot. Overall, this is a good, budget camera. Plus it gave me an excuse to break out the riding crop, hunting jacket, and jodhpurs.

I have a horrofic experience with SONY DSC T100 purchased from www.homeshop18.com . I got it in Nov'07. At first , it was extremely delighting experience to shoot, transfer it to Laptop. recently it has strted showing problem like , its LCD turning violet or red and picture too is turning violet. I am shocked to find it, to say least. I took it to Service Center, and I am told it has problem with image processor. I have used memory card from Sony, purchased from Sony showroom with guarantee card for 5 years. Can any body offer help ?
