Hello to all of my fellow gamers out there! Sorry, these past few weekends, real-life obligations have kept me away from my gaming apparatus, but this upcoming weekend, I plan on taking a breather and enjoying some quality game time. Here's what I have in store:
Rock Band 2: (Xbox 360 and PS3) I'm sure many of you saw fellow Yahoo! Techie Christopher Null's hands-on review, and you know I'll be storming his house this weekend to give it a shot. As a huge fan of the Rock Band series and music-based rhythm games in general, I am extremely excited about this release. If you don't know about it, just expect more of the same great Rock Band goodness, along with a revamped single player mode, new instruments, and playlist importing from the original Rock Band. Heads up, Null. :)
Mega Man 9: The blue bomber is finally back in 2D action after a 10-year hiatus. Mega Man 9, available on Monday, September 22 for Wii Ware (PSN and Xbox Live to follow), is a downloadable title that brings back gaming of yester-year. The old-school graphics and gameplay combined with new bosses pay tribute to the Mega Man faithful like myself. My personal favorites of the series? Mega Man 2 & 3—who knew a soundtrack could make a great game even better?
World of Warcraft: Ok, for the sake of my general health, I'm not so sure about this one. I've been sucked in once, and I'm contemplating getting sucked in again. With the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack just on the horizon, I'm starting to feel an itch for some MMORPG action. Someone, please stop me now before it's too late.
So, what are you all getting into this weekend? Anything I'm missing out on? Let me know!

definitely WoW and probably some Assassin's Creed
Like you, I have been very hesitant to get into WOW... but I just saw a demo of Warhammer Online and I think I'm in big trouble. Hmmm, and I have about 30+ hours of vacation time left this year which may give me enough time to sink my teeth into a few regions of the Warhammer universe.

I'm still on my Battlefield 2 kick; too comfortable to give up...
