After months of rumors, leaks, and hints, the Fuze (otherwise known as the HTC Touch Pro) has made its fashionably late entrance onto AT&T's online web store for $299 with two-year contract.
The Fuze is virtually the same as the HTC Touch Pro (available on Sprint—check out Ben's review): 3G connectivity, 512MB flash storage, microSD expansion slot, Windows Mobile 6.1, 2.8-inch TFT LCD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aGPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, and more.Â
The Fuze's $299 price after contract is right in line with the iPhone 3G 16GB, which makes it an attractive business-class device (and has my interests perked—big time). Stuck in an AT&T Wireless contract already? Expect to cough up $879.99 for a no-contract price through AT&T.
Sigh... Looks like I'll have to wait a little longer to upgrade.
