Need to kill some time at work? Does an xtra-treme!!! battle royale of gaming durability wet your appetite? Check this out.
G4TV (via Gizmodo) brought in "The Human Wrecking Balls", a ton of cinder blocks, three game consoles, and a few cameras, and threw them all together in an empty parking lot. It wasn't pretty.
Of course, this isn't the most scientifically sound lab experiement, so don't expect G4TV to win any Nobel Prize awards for this not-so-controlled study. Oh yeah, just a warning: This video isn't for the electronically-faint-hearted—I died a little inside watching it.
And remember kids: Don't try this at home.

I agree sechkyn. The time X-Play tested the GCN, Xbox and PS2 with Morgan von Webb it was a fair test. No console could've survived that last 15 seconds. I think the Xbox and Xbox 360 went the same way - they couldn't press the power button to turn it on!
That was fun
You don't have to do anything with the xbox 360...just let it overheat! :-)
so sad :( all that beautiful gaming gone to waste.

I did not like the test for next gen consoles. The previous gen consoles test was much much better. 15 second wrack was an stupid idea!
