iPod & iTunes: Import Photos Using the iPod Camera Connector

Apple includes software for dealing with the Apple iPod Camera Connector in the software for iPod itself.

  1. Snap the connector into your iPod dock.
  2. Connect your camera to the Camera Connector using the standard USB-to-USB mini cable your camera came with. (If you don't have one, pick one up from any computer supply store.)
  3. That's it! The photos will start uploading from your camera to your iPod, where they'll form a new photo album.

If your iPod doesn't recognize your camera through iPod Camera Connector, you most likely need to update your iPod's firmware.
