As many rap stars say, you're nothing if you don't know what time it is; iPods, friend, are here to help. First though, you have to set your time.
- From the iPod menu, click Extras | Clock | Date & Time | Set Time Zone.
- Scroll through the list of options for your particular region and click the center button to set your highlighted choice.
- Click Menu on the scroll wheel once to go back, then scroll down and click Set Date & Time.
- Use the scroll wheel to set the hour, then click the center button to set your choice. The next option will be selected automatically. Go through and set all options. When you've finished you'll be sent back to the Date & Time menu automatically.
- From there, you can pick whether you want time displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour format. Just scroll down and click Time and change from 12 to 24 and vice versa.
- If you want the time displayed more frequently, scroll down once more, choose Time In Title, and click it to turn it on. Activated, it will replace the title in most menus with the time, usually after a short delay during which the menu title is shown.
