Windows XP Outlook Express Headaches: I don't like the appearance of e-mail that I read/compose.

Cause Outlook Express uses a default configuration and default fonts for e-mail that you type or read. However, if that default setup doesn't work for you, you can easily change it.

The Pain Killer To change the setup of e-mail fonts and colors, follow these steps:

  1. In Outlook Express, click Tools | Options.
  2. Click the Read tab, and then click the Fonts button. Make any desired changes, and then click OK. Click the Compose tab and make any desired font setting changes or changes to stationery defaults. Click OK when you are done.
