I bought these to watch DVDs in the gym on a portable DVD player since no other headphones could block enough of the noisy gym sound. I was surprised at how well they blocked out sound and how good quality the sound and bass were. But I am not looking for a lower quality pair since these have grown uncomfortable and don't stay in my ears while running. The padded plugs also get somewhat cruddy over time. Hide Full Review

These are totally not worth the money. I have a $15 headphone set that sounds almost as good as the E2C's. The difference is that my cheaper set is consistent in sound quality no matter what activity you are doing. The E2C's have to be crammed down in your ear at all times for optimal frequency range. The minute you open your mouth or yawn it opens the ear cavity and totally blows all sound quality. Where they worth the extra $85 over my last pair? Hell no, took em back the next day. Don't buy.
