Security : Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router

Like another review posted, I have to reset this router at least once every 24 to 48 hours. It unexpectedly drops the wireless connection, followed by the internet connection, then the web interface, followed by LAN connection. I have read many other posts that report these problems. I'm waiting on support from Belkin to troubleshoot or replace the unit. In the future, I'll spend my money on a Linksys router. The Linksys BEFSR41 I bought 6 years ago is still running without a glitch. Hide Full Review

The Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router was a great choice for my needs. I wanted a router less than the $150 dollar models, but with speed that would not hamper the needs of a gamer. This router has great support, and if you are like me, living among others that want your internet connection, sleep well knowing that it has a great choice of different security measures. I could comfortably go 250ft. away from the base, without sacrificing too much speed. The only downfall I have found is that it needs to be reset on a regular basis because it gets glitchy, especially if you are running the wireless, and not hard-wiring it. I will never buy or recomend another dlink product again untill i see company overhaul. I always kept the most expensive dlink routers (di624) was last one. garbage none speaking uncertified tech support driver issues and so on.

love belkin hell thinking about investing in their stock their products have just worked for me i don't have to be a network geek to keep a great working wireless network I'm a big fan of linksys but ended up with belkin because of price paid 60 for my router and card on sale just love it no complaints loyal customer now. this router is veryer fast if that is what u want it has a wide range but it does not ajust to slower wireless deise such as ds psp ans older comuter it does not lower it speed and u are unable to do it mauly. some starneg problems acur with this item such as not beibg abel to use ur computers inter net wile the router on. im done with the reviw2 i hope it helps sorry for the terrable garmmer and splling.
