Desktops : Apple iMac 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (20-inch monitor)

I have just recently switched to Mac, and I love it. With a few extra bucks (More like 200 of them...) you can run Windows on your Mac, and run all your favorite games and Windows programs, or wait for someone to make Mac ports of them.



The Mighty Mouse is maybe the only problem I have with this. It has 4 customizable buttons...but the part that often gets used the most, the scroller ball, clogs up with dirt in about a week, and then a week or two after that, ceases working completely!



For 1500 dollars, this isn't the greatest buy for proffesionals or REALLY intense gamers, but it has: Powerful Mid-range graphics, a large, bright, hi-resolution screen, EXTREMELY easy to use operating system, a little remote to control your media, a GREAT bundle of media software called iLife, and a powerful built in camera.



On the other hand, the parts you choose at the online store are the ones you will keep for the computer's lifetime. This is a big problem with most of Apple's computers, aside from their Pro/Power Macs. Hide Full Review

This is definiely the best personal computer out there. It has just as many features as Windows, and then some! It's not customizable in all the same ways, but makes up for that elsewhere.Once you're set up, there's no limit to what you can do. Import photos, music, or movies, and burn them to a DVD with the slot-loading SuperDrive. Create a slideshow in seconds, and enjoy the 20" screen to see your photos in their full glory for the first time! Plug and play is great on Mac OS X, as well as Drag'nDrop- take a snapshot with the built-in webcam, drag it to your Instant Messenger window, and it sends it automatically.Ease of use is definitely 10 out of 5.
