Cell Phones : Apple iPhone 4GB

Well let me start by saying that I did not wait in line to get my iphone. I just went to my local Apple store on Saturday morning. I was literally in and out of the store in about 10 minutes. Don't get me wrong though, I've been looking forward to this phone for a long time but I just couldn't skip work to wait in line the entire day. I'm working class! Anyhow, as soon as I arrived home I hooked my iphone up to my itunes and I was up and running within the hour. Basically a pretty easy, painless process. I heard later about some difficulties people were having but I think the fact that I was already an AT&T customer helped move the process along quicker. So now to the fun part. I love my iphone so much I can't put it down... It's even cooler than I thought it would be. The screen resolution is crystal clear and the overall appearance is amazing. I think for the most part it's pretty user friendly for anyone that's into tech stuff, like me - I'm a gadget freak! One happy surprise was the camera, it's only 2 megapixels but it takes really good pics. I've already gotten use to the touch screen and find it to be quite accurate when I type using the keypad. The best feature overall for me is that I can talk on the phone using my regular headphones. Pretty cool!!! Ever since I've gotten this phone I'm the most popular person at work, it's hillarious. Lastly, the price point I think is right on the money considering you have an ipod, phone, internet and so many other great features combined all in one unit. This is definitely a purchase I will never regret as it's a great investment in my book. The only con is that the battery life is not too long, but then again I'm constantly surfing the web or listening to music so I guess that's to be expected. Hide Full Review

I bought the iPhone about a week after it came out and I absoulutely love it. It is everthing that people say it is and more. Everything is so easy to use except for the on screen keyboard did take some getting use to. I would recommend this phone to anyone. Hide Full Review

So unlike most iPhone owners out there, I did now wait in any lines to get my iPhone. I actually waited until the price drop, before I got mine. (I have had the phone about 2 months now, and wanted to get to know it before giving my review) Let me start off by saying that the phone is ONE OF A KIND, with features like Visual Voice mail (where you can listen to any v-mail you have in any order, without the hassle of navigating through unwanted messages.)the built in iPod w/ video, and the brilliant screen is amazing to watch videos on, I swear some of the music videos look better on my iPhone than they do on my HDTV!!!!! But that is enough about the Great features, although i could go on all day about them. PROBLEMS WITH THE iPhone--- what the heck were they thinking, you cannot take videos, you cannot send or receive pictures or videos (these 3 things are basics for a phone) even though you can email pics and in turn receive pics in your email it would be much easier to send them via sms. Another feature that would be nice, previous to this phone I had a LG 8600 and a Samsung u740 Both on the Verizon Network, both were great phones and one of the best features was Turn by Turn Navigation, why cant the iphone have this, it has Google Maps, and will give me directions, but there is not installed GPS into the phone itself allowing it to tell me where I am at. SO basically this a good phone that is missing a few BASIC features, and could use a few more. Hide Full Review
