Cell Phones : Apple iPhone 3G 16GB (White)

I loved all of the gadgets and applications this phone had to offer. However, I was rarely able to get a 3G signal and had to keep the phone switched to EDGE in order to get a signal and not drop calls. Battery life sucked - it drained faster than a teenager syphoning beer from a keg stand. The phone touchkeyboard was difficult to use after having a full QWERTY keyboard on my old Nokia, if only it came with a stylus or slide out keyboard. Also, sending photos via MMS was not possible. Though I have been told there is an application for this. The ringer was never loud enough unless the phone was right under my nose. I actually returned the iphone and went back to my old Nokia 6822. I suspect in another year or two I will go back to an improved version of the iphone. Hide Full Review

IT'S THE BEST PHONE IN THE WORLD. IT HAS A TOUCHSCREEN, THE INTERNET, GAMES, A GREAT CALENDER, A SCIENTIFIC CALENDER, A GREAT CAMERA, AN ALARM CLOCK, YOU CAN SET A WEBPAGE ON YOUR HOMESCREEN. IT'S THE BEST AND LAST PHONE, AND IPOD I WILL EVER HAVE!

I was so excited to get this phone, got it on my birthday. I had the 2g iphone before I got this one. The first iphone 3g I got the vibrate button came off after switching it one day (this was the first week of use) I went to apple they gave me a refurbished iphone..yes refurbished I was so upset and couldn't understand why I couldn't get a new one. I was not at all rough with my iphone. So I got my refurb. and when I got home and turned it on it had a dead pixel right in the center of the screen, it also had light leak and the sim tray wouldn't eject. I went to apple the next day and showed them and they replaced it again with another refurb...huh. Got home and it still has light leak down the whole left side and some on the right. I decided to just keep it, because everything else worked fine and the apple store is an hour away from me. Had the iphone for 3 months now and it never dropped, but the other day when I took the case off to clean my iphone I saw a crack in the plastic right above the vibrate switch..huh. I googled it and this seems like it's a know problem. Come on Apple get it together. We dish out so much money for your products the least you can do is provide us with quality material. I wish I would have keep my 2g aluminum iphone instead of this cheap plastic iphone. Apple needs to go back to aluminum or the same material they use for the 2 gen. ipod touch. Like I said I treat my iphone like a baby, never dropped, always clean it and keep a screen protector on it. I would never buy another one! Hide Full Review
